Impact Moling is a method used when you want to renew or re-route your water supply, something like this would usually take place if you have a leak that is underneath your property or in an area that is difficult to reach too for a repair to be conducted.
Moling is a trenchless method used to lay pipes, this is done by using a pneumatically driven machine which forces its way through the ground for where the pipes are going to be laid, the compressed air causes the head of the mole to hammer over and over again against the soil. This prevents from having to dig up a trench to lay water pipes.
It is an efficient method to use as it does less damage and doesn’t cause much disruption. Only two holes are required, the first for the mole to enter in from and the second where the mole will emerge.
Once this has been passed through the ground the property will then need to be re-instated to how it originally was.
