A machine is then used to hammer out a hole for a new pipe, which runs underground to replace the old water line. Moling Process
Moling is a trenchless technology used to install pipes, cables, and ductwork without the need for long, continuous trenches. A pneumatically-driven ‘Mole’ machine moves through the soil, creating a path for the new pipe. This method is ideal for laying water pipes beneath private land, homes, or other premises.
Our Services
We specialise in residential moling services, installing underground mains water pipes and upgrading them to PVC. We handle pipe and duct installations ranging from 22mm to 63mm with minimal ground disruption, completing up to 50 meters of installation per day depending on the pipe diameter and ground conditions.

We offer Impact Moling within your property boundary as a bespoke service, providing a cost-effective and time-saving alternative to the HDD drill. This service is available as an add-on, offering water mains moling for our customers.
Our installations are ideal for small utility services such as water pipe repair or installation, gas pipe repair or installation, as well as cables and ducts under gardens.
We charge for a minimum of 10 meters for all mains pipe replacements, with all prices inclusive of labour.
